When visiting the museum can I make something out of glass?

Answer

glass making class

From hot glassworking, to flameworking, to fusing, to sandblasting—you and your family can do just about anything with glass, with the help of our experienced glassworkers. Opportunities exist for all ages. No experience is necessary. These short experience are 20 to 40 minutes in length, depending on the Make Your Own Glass project.

A project may be completed by one participant, unless otherwise noted.  Appropriate safety equipment is provided and required for each project. A parent or guardian must remain in The Studio while children are participating in Make Your Own Glass experiences.

Spots fill quickly, booking your experience online before your visit is recommended. To book a session register here.

Please note: Scheduling appointments before or after peak times (12 - 4 pm) may help avoid crowds.
